Hallo weisst Du vielleicht was das für ein Stein sein könnte, den ich in Sizilien bearbeitet habe? Er wird für Mauern und Bauten verwendet in Noto bei Siracusa. Die Einheimischen sagten, es könnte ein Calcario, also Kalkstein sein. Er war ziemlich weich und die Oberfläche recht sandig, fiel also beim Darüberstreichen mit dem Finger bereits als feiner Sand ab. Hier ein paar Bilder...

Hi there! Do you know perhaps what this stone is called and made of? It's from Sicily, the locals think it could be "Calcario"... It's a soft stone, sandy.... maybe these pictures could help:
